Cusco City tour
Overview
In this tour we will visit different archaeological complexes of Cusco.
- The magnificent Inca temple of Qoricancha, also known as the Temple of Santo Domingo.
- The impressive terraces and temples of the great ceremonial fortress of Sacsayhuaman.
- The enigmatic rocky promontories and labyrinthine paths of the amphitheater of Qenqo.
- The great terraces, walls and stone stairways of the military fortress of Puca Pucara.
- And the mysterious terraces and fountains of the Tambomachay water temple.
Remember: the City tour can be done in these two schedules:
- Morning tour: (08:30 – 14:30 hours).
- Afternoon tour: (13:00 – 19:00 hours).
Itinerary
We will start with the pick up of our passengers and then head to the Temple of Qoricancha, the first place we will visit will be the temple of the sun then we will board our mobility to go to the upper part of Cusco and visit the archaeological complex of Sacsayhuaman and Qenqo considered as the temple of Pachamama. Then we will visit Pukapukara and finally Tambomachay which is the temple of water.
After the guided tour we will return approx. 19:00pm, to continue touring on your own the other wonders of the majestic city of Cusco.
